We are also there for you in summer. On Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays, for a cold beer, a hearty snack or to relax after your favourite activity. Our Alm Salettl in Winterberg is not only ideal for skiers, but also for bikers, hikers and campers who like to stop by and let us spoil them.
From here, you can access the trail park directly. It takes about two minutes to reach the Rothaarsteig, the well-known long-distance hiking trail. It leads directly behind our campsite up to the St.-Georg-Schanze, Winterberg's landmark.
From the Alm Salettl you can easily reach numerous other leisure destinations in the Winterberg holiday world. Whether it's the panoramic bridge, golf course, archery event, summer toboggan run, climbing park or Nordic sports arena: there's something for everyone with the excursion destinations and outdoor experiences listed below!
Biking
The Sauerland is a paradise for bikers. Whether on a mountain bike, road bike, as a family or downhill action-packed: discover suitable routes for every requirement and experience Winterberg from its most beautiful side on two wheels. Trailpark Winterberg
A network of 40 kilometres of trails stretches across the Winterberg ski carousel, making every biker's heart beat faster. The Winterberg trail park is one of the first trail parks in western Germany, bringing the biking trend to Hochsauerland. The many varied routes offer biking fun for everyone, regardless of whether you are looking for flowing trails, challenging climbs or family-friendly routes.
The Schneewittchenhaus is located directly at the trail park and is the ideal place for a stopover if you want to take a breather. On our sun terrace, you can enjoy food and drinks made for athletes before plunging back into your bike adventure.
Bike Arena Sauerland
From Attendorn via Finnentrop and Meschede to Winterberg and Willingen - the 150 varied routes of the Bike Arena Sauerland have plenty to offer bike fans. Whether you are a beginner, racing cyclist, leisure cyclist, family or cross biker, everyone will find the perfect tour for their needs in the Bike Arena's varied route network.
More than 50 accommodation providers in the Bike Arena are looking forward to your visit - including the Schneewittchenhaus. We are located directly at one of the hubs of the Bike Arena and serve you delicious food from our menu.
Summer tobogganing
The summer attractions in the Winterberg ski lift carousel!
Below the ski jump you will find two spectacular summer tobogganing experiences: the "Schanzenwirbel" and the "Herrloh-Blitz". Afterwards, you can fly 1,000 metres over the Herrloh valley in two stages on the Sky-Fly Zip Line . The ski jump lift then takes you back in comfort with an exit at the ski jump.

Rothaarsteig

If you are looking for beautiful nature and a variety of hiking trails where you can leave the stress of everyday life behind you, then explore the Rothaarsteig and its side and themed trails on a hike.
At 154 km in length and 3,931 metres in altitude, the Rothaarsteig is one of the most beautiful long-distance hiking trails in Germany - and it passes right by our Schneewittchenhaus restaurant and our Alm Salettl umbrella bar.
So lace up your hiking boots, set off and stop off at our restaurant.

Adventure mountain Kappe
One mountain - countless leisure activities for young and old. Discover the Kappe adventure mountain and everything it has to offer: Climb through the climbing park, whizz down the 700-metre-long summer toboggan run or enjoy the view from the panoramic adventure bridge with its climbing elements. For bike lovers, head down from the Kappe to the most versatile and largest bike park in Germany.
If that's too much of a thrill for you, visit the bobsleigh run, play minigolf or get close to the sky on the "Kiss the sky" trampoline. And if you want to take a breather in between? You'll find our Schneewittchenhaus right next to the climbing park,

Camping in Winterberg
Right next to the Winterberg ski lift carousel is the 4-star camping park Hochsauerland. You can camp here all year round and are close to everything that is important. You can reach Winterberg town centre on foot in around 10 minutes and the Bike Arena, the trail park and the most popular bike park in Germany can be reached in no time at all.
Located directly on the Rothaarsteig trail, the campsite is also a perfect starting point for hikers and bikers. It also has a large caravan park.
